Fire Roasted Cake

Last Friday Sara, and I were down stairs in the school room when we herd Eve screaming, and yelling "Mom! Mom! It's on fire! It's on fire! MOM!"

Sara and I ran up stairs. When we got to the kitchen Eve was blowing as hard as she could on the cake she had in the oven, and Mom was trying to figure out how to use the fire extinguisher. Eve got the fire out so we didn't get to use the fire extinguisher. She was so mad that she didn't even make another cake for the frosting that she made. Eve was trying to brown the marshmallows on top of the cake under the broiler in the oven. Oops!

I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who has pyro-accidents in the oven. After our exciting adventure with the oven being on fire, my husband taught all of us how to use the fire extinguisher... this afer I had thrown a good pound of salt on it and a box of baking soda... made for a fun cleanup! :)
