Halloween Party

Every year our great bookmobile librarian throws a Halloween Party. This year she wanted us all to dress up as a character from a book. We had to stand and give clues while everyone else guessed who we were.

Laura as "Pinkalicious"

Debbie as a fairy.

Abigail as "Nim" from the book Nim's Island.

Sara as the "White Witch" from the Narnia books.

Marie as "Anne Shirley" from Anne of Green Gables.

Eve as Nymphadora Tonks from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

We played "Mummy Wrap."

And ate some fun treats like.....

Halloween Cupcakes

Homemade Caramel Apples by our neighbor

Monster Fingers

It was a lot of fun!

I think that the Nim costume was the best I've seen this year! We love that movie, esp. the line, "I'm homeschooled, you could even say I'm Island Schooled!"

Okay, those monster fingers look really creepy. I love the idea of dressing up as a character from a book. Tonks is one of my favorite Harry Potter characters. How clever.

Great job on the costumes girls! I especially like the "puffed sleeves" on Anne! That's a good look for Eve too!
