On Mother's Day we took a drive up to the top of the Bloody Runs. Though the vegetation is scarce we did find beautiful wildflowers, deer, a small spring, and no rattlesnakes! (Much to my relief)

Gorgeous photos. It looks like you had a wonderful excursion spending time with those you love!
What a great Mothers Day activity!
Looks like you had a great time!
I love your pictures, what camera do you use?
What's the story behind the name of the location?
how lovely!
Corrie,
I have a Canon Rebel XTi but am a beginner trying to figure out how to use it.
Nobody knows how the Bloddy Runs got their name. I've heard stories about anything from Indian/cowboy fights to a poor wandering soul who happened to have a bad case of diarrhea. The next mountain range over is called the Slumbering Hills. So who knows? :D
