We've had sheep on various pivots for the last couple of months. The sheepherders are from Peru and don't know any English. We have to rely on our very limited Spanish to communicate with them. Their 'patron' or boss is in California. He pays us to let the sheep graze on the hay for the winter. This photo was taken by my dad when he visited in November. The sheep were 'watering' at the trough by our house.
Last week a ewe had twins. Here's the best I could do without getting in the pen with them.
