In the Garden

Debbie found this butterfly dead in our flower garden.
All of these flowers were planted by seed, most of them are zinnias and alyssum.
Sweet little daisies
Umm...I think this is some type of African daisy
This is called a Peppermint Stick Zinnia
Zinnia Bud - looks like a creature from another planet
Poppy
Golden Coreopsis (When these were first growing I thought they were weeds and pulled up most of them until I realized they weren't growing anywhere else in our yard. Now there's only a few plants left.)

I love these photos. My little daisies died from the heat.

Did you grow the poppies from seed? I usually plant starts - so when do you sow flower seeds to get them to turn out so big already?
