Great-Grandparents

At the top of my 'to-do' list for our trip to Utah was to get pictures of each of the girls with their great-grandparents. We took pictures of each girl individually and then we did a group photo. I want each girl to have pictures for their scrapbooks of just herself with each great-grandparent. Here they are with Avi (grandfather in Catalan), my paternal grandfather.
Here's Abby with Yaya (grandmother in Catalan), my paternal grandmother.
With Guelito (variation of abuelo), my maternal grandfather.
With Guelita (variation of abuela), my maternal grandmother.

It is so cool for them to really develop a bond with their great grandparents. They will treasure that for life, for sure.

I love Debbie's grin in the first picture. What a riot!

What a fabulous opportunity for your children. Mine have my paternal grandmother and love her to pieces.
Have a great time in Utah and give us a wave hello!

That's a great idea! Three of my grandparents and three of J's all died within a couple years of each other. It was almost like they planned it! Now we are only left with our maternal grandmothers. I wish I'd taken pics of the kids with them.
