Happy Father's Day

“I repeat that plea to all fathers. Yours is the basic and inescapable responsibility to stand as head of the family. That does not carry with it any implication of dictatorship or unrighteous dominion. It carries with it a mandate that fathers provide for the needs of their families. Those needs are more than food, clothing, and shelter. Those needs include righteous direction and the teaching, by example as well as precept, of basic principles of honesty, integrity, service, respect for the rights of others, and an understanding that we are accountable for that which we do in this life” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “Bring Up a Child in the Way He Should Go,” Ensign, Nov. 1993, 60).
Happy Father's Day to the father of our home, Joseph.

And to Grandpa Ventura

And Grandpa Wadsworth
*Note: I used pictures of them when they were all roughly the same age, their early twenties.

You've got some handsome men in your life, Montse!

One of your girls looks incredibly much like dad! Is it the third?

Good job, Calandria! Sara is the third. She'll get a kick out of your comment. She always hears she looks like me when I was little.

Athena, it would have to be Wranglers. That's all he ever wears. You know the cowboy/western thing. :D

When I was pregnant with Laura my SIL asked Eve what names we were thinking of if the baby was a boy. Eve said, "I think it's some kind of jeans like Wrangler." My SIL laughed and asked, "Do you mean Levi?" LOL! It was Levi.
