A bit of light reading. . .

NOT! These are just a few of the books on my 'to read' list. Of the books pictured here I am currently reading "Life of Joseph Smith" by George Q. Cannon and "Prelude to the Restoration" by the Sidney Sperry Symposium.

I'm trying to follow "A Mother's Educational Course for Latter-day Saints". I'm not doing everything listed, just picking and choosing what I feel drawn to read and what I have time for.

This morning I woke up at 6am, exercised for 1/2 an hour, read for another 1/2 hour, took my shower, and read some more until the rest of the family woke up at 8am. (Lazy bums!) I told them I hope they do that more often. It was nice to have quiet solitude to charge my battery before another crazy, wonderful, girly filled day.

Wow Montse your stack of books looks about as big as mine! So many books, so little time! Do you ever listen to books on tape while you exercise? That's how I fit in a few more minutes of "reading." I enjoy your blog, it makes me think of starting my own.

Amy (I'm on the ldsmomed group too)

LOL, it would take a ranch mom to call 8am late!

I'm especially interested in the book Prophets Priests and Kings. Looks interesting--nay, they all look interesting! :)

I started a book group (official Enrichment activity) for R.S. sisters in our ward. The first meeting was last night--a planning meeting. It was great to get everyone's book suggestions. A couple of the books you have there are on our list.
